A serious parka made to withstand the very worst of alpine conditions, our Stream Parka might be our most technically accomplished jacket. That’s mainly thanks to the fully seam-sealed, three-layer construction.
The fabric fabric is 70-denier friction-weaved nylon taffeta which is exceptionally tough and durable. Weather-resistant on its own, this is nevertheless supported by a GORE-TEX membrane with C-Knit Backer technology for complete protection from all manner of foul weather. This technology also makes the jacket incredibly breathable as well, as it’s just as effective at venting built-up moisture as it is at blocking it.
Then there’s the details, all thoughtfully calibrated for mountaineering - the Tri-Axial hood is compatible with helmets, a Face Shield Collar protects your neck and face from intense gusts, the articulated arms allow for a full range of movement, and the waterproof Aqua-Tect zipper eliminates water ingress. And that’s not even mentioning the snow skirt, the pit zips and the Alpine Cuffs! Like we said, this is a very serious parka for very serious alpinists.
